2020 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND – ATLANTIC HALIBUT FISHERY EXTENSION TO FOURTH OPENING

EKME: 4192288 Charlottetown, PEI– September 8, 2020 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is announcing

an extension for the fourth halibut opening on PEI. The fourth opening will be from September

th th9 until September 12 .

During open periods, the fishery will occur from 4 a.m. on September 9th until September 12th at 4 p.m. Licences holders are not permitted to leave port until 2 a.m. on the day of an opening and must return to port by 6 p.m. the last day of the fishery.
