DEPARTMENT OF FISHERIES AND OCEANS (DFO)  WILL BE RELEASING TUNA TAGS FOR THE CANADIAN PORTION OF THE QUOTA’S REALLOCATION TO THE FIRST 78 LICENSE NUMBERS ON THE PREVIOUSLY DRAWN REALLOCATION LIST.

Tags will be available at the DFO office from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.New conditions are necessary to start fishing again on October 3rd.

DFO expects to have these released no later than Friday.

Reminder: Any partnerships in place were terminated as of September 29th, 6 PM.
