Donation for Japan Disaster Relief
The Prince Edward Island Fishermen's Association wishes to announce that a donation will be made to the Canadian Red Cross Relief Fund for Japan on behalf of all Island Core Fishermen on Tuesday March 29 at 11:00 at the Red Cross office in Charlottetown.
The members of the PEIFA are deeply affected by the losses that their colleagues in Japan have suffered in the recent earthquake and tsunami.
It is hoped that this donation will assist these fishermen and others to recover from this disaster.
The PEIFA wished to challenge similar organizations in the fishery to donate to
this worthy cause.
