Following the DFO Conference call at 8AM today (Wednesday, May 1^st) with reps from LFA 24, 26A, 26B and Environment Canada, DFO has decided to open the LFA 24, 26A and 26B spring lobster fishery on Friday, May 3^rd at 6AM.  DFO will issue a Notice to Fish Harvesters with the details shortly and we will post in the Notice section of the website.  Wishing all fishers a safe setting day!
